The new (2013) call for proposals has been published under Intelligent Energy Europe Programme (IEE), which objective is to contribute to secure, sustainable and competitively priced energy for Europe. There will be € 65 million available for funding in 2013. The deadline for submission is 8 May 2013.

The European Commission gave out over 1.2 billion euro ($1.59 billion) in grants this week to 23 “highly innovative” renewable energy demonstration projects in a bid to boost the development of clean technologies in the European Union.
The funds were taken from revenues obtained from the sale of 200 million emissions allowances from new participants’ reserve of the E.U. Emissions Trading System.
The European Commission has published the final and biggest ever calls for proposals under its Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7). In total, €8.1 billion is available to support projects and ideas that will boost Europe's competitiveness and tackle issues such as improving human health, protecting the environment and finding new solutions to challenges arising, for example, from urbanisation and managing waste.
The ACP-EU Co-operation Programme in Higher Education (EDULINK II) Call for Proposals has been published. It is designed to continue fostering co-operation in the field of Higher Education between the countries of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP States) and the European Union. EDULINK will improve the effectiveness, management, visibility and hence the impact of ACP-EU co-operation in the field of higher education. The Programme aims at promoting innovation in HEIs in the ACP States and, hence, at ensuring their competitiveness in the global environment.
The sixth LIFE+ call for proposals was published in the Official Journal (2012/C 74/08) on 13 March 2012. The deadline for applicants to submit proposals to Member State authorities is 26/09/2012.
