ERASMUS PLUS Call for Porposals

The European Commission has published the first Call for Proposals under ERASMUS PLUS programme. You can find it below for download, together with the Programme Guide.

 

Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014-2020. It aims at boosting skills and employability, and modernising Education, Training and Youth work. The seven year programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion, which represents a 40% increase compared to current spending levels.

 

Horizon 2020 first calls published

The European Commission has for the first time presented calls for projects under Horizon 2020. Worth more than €15 billion over the first two years, the funding is intended to help boost Europe's knowledge-driven economy, and tackle issues that will make a difference in people's lives.

 

Horizon 2020 research programme approved

Horizon 2020, the EU's €70.2 billion framework programme for research and innovation in 2014-2020, was approved by MEPs on Thursday (21/11). Parliament amended it to improve support for small firms, attract more people into science and more scientists to join the programme, and earmark funding for non-fossil energy research.

Erasmus Plus 2014 - 2020

From 1 January 2014, Erasmus+ will become the new EU funding programme for education, training, youth and sport. Erasmus+ will have a new, streamlined structure that combines current funding programmes in the sector including the Lifelong Learning Programme (Comenius, Leonardo, Erasmus, Grundtvig and Transversal Programmes), Youth in Action, Jean Monnet, Tempus and Erasmus Mundus - see the picture below.

 

Central Europe launches tender for thematic studies on Energy efficiency and renewable energy

The Central Europe Programme has published three tenders for thematic studies on “Energy efficiency and renewable energies", “Demographic change and knowledge development” and “Cultural heritage and creative resources”. The deadline for submitting non-binding offers is 19 July 2013 at 17.00 pm (Vienna local time).

 

Eco-innovation Call 2013

The European Commission has launched a call for eco-innovation technology proposals that aim to prevent or reduce environmental impacts or contribute to the optimal use of resources. The Eco-Innovation scheme will fund 45 projects over the next year to the value of EUR 31.5 million. Proposals are being sought in five specific areas: material recycling, water, sustainable building products, green business, and the food and drink sector.
