GRI’s Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting

The 13th European Forum on Eco-innovation

The 13th Forum on eco-innovation and 2 nd Forum of the EU Eco-Innovation Action Plan on “Developing new markets for Eco-Innovation” wit a special focus on water will be held in Lisbon. The Forum will discuss the entire chain from research, innovation, market and export. Three European networks cooperate with the DG-Environment of the European Commission: Eco-Innovera – boosting eco-innovation through cooperation in research, ECOPOL – accelerating eco-innovation policies, and Enc-NCP-Together – promoting partnerships.


From Consumer Kids to Sustainable Childhood 2012

In thursday 15. November the symposium from From Consumer Kids to Sustainable Childhood will be held. The symposium is hosted by Worldwatch Institute, Ecologic Institute and Germanwatch and supported by The Velux Foundation. The event takes places on November 15th, and it is free of charge, but space is limited.

With the background of the "Roadmap to a Resource Efficient Europe" presented by the EU Commission in September 2011 and the "German Resource Efficiency Programme" (ProgRess) adopted by the German Federal Cabinet in February 2012, the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) is hosting the first European Resources Forum (ERF) in Berlin on 12-13 November 2012.


A special workshop on how the financial market can act as a driver for resource efficiency will be held.



8 November, 2012 — 9 November, 2012

The first International Life Cycle Management (LCM) academy will be held on 8-9 November in Lille in Northern France. It will follow the LCA Conference.



The [avniR] platform will organise its first International LCM academy together with UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative. Companies and organizations from around the world will take part. At least half of the participants should come from non-OECD countries and all continents should be represented.


[avniR] 2012 LCA Conference

The second [avniR] LCA conference will be held the 6 - 7 November 2012 at the Lille Grand Palais in Northern France. The LCA conference will be followed by the LCM Academy.


The [avniR] platform organised its first International conference on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) 3 and 4 November 2011 in Lille, France. The event brought together 280 participants from more than twenty countries, making it the biggest ever bilingual event on life cycle thinking.

Greening of Industry Network Conference 2012

Division of Environmental Technology and Management at Linköping University organizes the 18th Greening of Industry Network (GIN) conference in Linköping, Sweden, during 21-24 October, 2012. A reference group with representatives of industry, government and university, chaired by the County Governor, is currently working on the organization of on-site workshops as integrated part of the GIN2012 conference.
