The first International Life Cycle Management (LCM) academy will be held on 8-9 November in Lille in Northern France. It will follow the LCA Conference.



The [avniR] platform will organise its first International LCM academy together with UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative. Companies and organizations from around the world will take part. At least half of the participants should come from non-OECD countries and all continents should be represented.


The LCM Academy will help to understand how Life Cycle Management can help create sustainable business value. Only 50 participants will be selected, and will be provided ongoing support for their projects.


Participants will focus on different LCM maturity levels and which type of improvement actions are appropriate at each level, decision-making processes to assess the LCM maturity level , decision-making in 12 key business processes to assess organizational needs and design improvement actions, identification of key organizational development needs, developing improvement projects for short term and longer term business objectives.
