From Consumer Kids to Sustainable Childhood 2012

15 November, 2012

In thursday 15. November the symposium from From Consumer Kids to Sustainable Childhood will be held. The symposium is hosted by Worldwatch Institute, Ecologic Institute and Germanwatch and supported by The Velux Foundation. The event takes places on November 15th, and it is free of charge, but space is limited.

The event will feature some key contributors in the fields of consumption and green economy, who will share their expertise and ideas on how to raise our children so that they no longer grow up learning to be consumers, but instead become guardians of sustainable living. The symposium will engage with participants through workshops and panel debates. All results including advice for change will be collected in a proceedings report which will be made available to all.

The symposium will take place from 13:00 to 17:30 on November 15th at The New Malthouse in Berlin. It is co-hosted by the Ecologic Institute, Germanwatch, and Worldwatch Institute.
